Toddlers

MACC’s Wombat room is for children aged two to three years, with 3 qualified early childhood educators for a group of 12 children. In early childhood, play is considered the key way in which children learn. Therefore, the program and the environment are carefully arranged so that children have access to a range of resources that challenge and develop new skills or to practise recently acquired ones.

Educators in this room focus on enhancing children’s independence skills and confidence in their own abilities. The program caters for the interests, needs and abilities of the group and individual child.
